About Heliar
he·li·ar (he ' le – är) � a design studio located in Tampa Bay Florida, specializing in providing accessable, standards based solutions for the web.
The brain child of Robb Vandaveer, the word Heliar was inspired by the words Helios, the sun god that drove his chariot in an arc across the sky each day and helix, a three dimensional spiral. It derives from the idea that design should be cyclical like nature. It begins, ends and begins anew building off of the designs before and inspiring the designs to come.
About Heliar's Philosophy
Heliar's design philosophy can be summed up in one word: simplicity. We believe even the most complex problems can be solved if broken down into their respective quanta.
About R. L. Vandaveer
A one time infantryman in the U.S Marines, Robb graduated from the University of South Florida in 2000 with a B.A. in Information Systems. Robb has been developing for the web since the late 90's. Read Robb's resumé.
